What We Believe
The Bible is Sufficient
Human authors were given the privilege of writing Scripture through divine concurrence (2 Peter 1:21). God allowed each authors to utilize their individual writing styles; however, God remained in control of each word written. Our Lord inspired Scripture to reveal Himself to mankind, and it is through the Holy Spirit that man’s mind can comprehend its meaning, By recognizing Scripture as the inspired word of God, it must have the same attributes as God. (Deuteronomy 32:4). Therefore, Scripture is of divine origin, making it incapable of error. The perfect nature of Scripture makes it the source of all truth and wisdom for life and faith struggles.
What We Believe
God
God is eternal and triune, He reveals Himself in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person in the Trinity has personal characteristics but has no division of essence, nature, or being.
Scripture
Scripture is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). Scripture was written through divine concurrence, which means it was written by human authors but God was in control of the written text (2 Peter 1:21). Scripture is the authoritative standard for all individuals are to live (John 16:1).
Mankind
Mankind was created in the image of God, making man a special creation (Genesis 1:26-30). In the beginning man was innocent of sin but then sinned against God through the temptation of satan. Man can only receive Salvation by God's grace through the Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
True Health and Wellness
True health and wellness begins in the soul with a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The physical body is susceptible to injury and sickness, and will eventually die but the soul lives forever, either in heaven or hell. Therefore, true health and wellness is grounded in the Salvation of a person's soul through Jesus Christ.
